Manufacturing pricing for custom apparel production and bulk orders

Our Product Specialties

Beyond The Products Listed Below, Focus On Bodysuits, Shapewear & Intimates, Kidswear & Swimwear, Denim Apparel, Technical Apparel, Sportswear, Streetwear, And Activewear.

Note: Prices depend on fabric thickness (GSM), fabric type, level of customization (embroidery, printing), and order quantity. Ranges listed here are typical, standard ranges and are subject to some basic customizations.

Why Our Pricing is Aligned with Professional Manufacturing Standards

We are a factory-direct OEM manufacturer (not a trading company or middleman). We have clear production costs, high-quality requirements and a long history of cooperating with global brands.

Direct Factory Pricing

You are getting your products directly from the production line in Dongguan, Guangdong, where it is one of the main production bases of the Chinese Apparel Industry. No trading company markups, no intermediary fees hidden in the quotations, and no inflated quotations meant for negotiation.

The prices we quote are based on real manufacturing costs: prices of fabric bought from the local textile market, the price of skilled labor in our area, the price of machine operation, and the export logistics. You get a quote, not a sales pitch, from the factory.

Transparent Cost Structure

We explain pricing in a clear and easy to understand manner, letting you know where your investment is going. We provide itemized quotes for material, labour, customisation set up, quality control and packaging.

This transparency is a useful tool for you to make informed decisions when it comes to fabric upgrades, design changes or volume changes. If a change affects costs, we will let you know before moving forward. No hidden costs, no surprise bills.

Quality Over Lowest Price

We’re not the cheapest service around! We go the extra mile to ensure that our pricing is at a professional level that safeguards your brand image in Western markets.

This comprises: Western sizing accuracy (not Asian body measurements), AQL 2.5 inspection procedures, BSCI-compliant labor practices, OEKO-TEX certified fabric choices and export-ready documentation. Brands who put emphasis on quality consistency instead of absolute lowest price, collaborate with us on long-term basis.

Repeat Order Benefits

We are not about one-off deals, we’re about multi-season production relationships. Trust and quality is built in first orders. Locked-in pricing, production priority during peak seasons and reduced sampling fees are benefits of repeat orders.

Brands ordering 5,000+ units per year can get annual pricing agreements which will account for any small changes in the fabric cost (+/-5%) and provide guaranteed production capacity. View our manufacturing capacity details for larger-scale production programs.

In-House Quality Control

Quality inspections are performed at 3 production phases, first of all is the incoming fabric verification, the second one is the mid-production measurement at 10%, 50% and the third is the pre-shipment AQL inspection that is conducted by our QC team. This eliminates any possible defect into entering bulk production and avoids the expensive remakes

Low cost factories often do not conduct middle production checks, or they are outsourced to third parties. We use a full time QC team who report directly to the production management department and as such, all orders are delivered to a consistent quality.

Export Compliance Standards

We include export compliant labeling (Fiber Content, Care Instructions, Country of Origin), safety certifications for targeted markets (CE for EU, CPSIA for USA children’s wear) and correct customs documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, HS codes).

The products are ready for shipment to USA, EU or Australia markets, without any issues with customs. Current knowledge of import regulations we have, and adjust production accordinglyโ€”what you cannot find in bottom tier factories.

Bottom Line: Our pricing reflects what professional manufacturing actually costs when quality, compliance, and partnership are priorities. If your primary goal is finding the absolute lowest per-unit price regardless of quality consistency or factory reliability, we may not be the right fit. If you’re building a brand that requires consistent production standards, transparent communication, and long-term sourcing stability, our pricing structure protects your investment.

What is the source of production costs?

The manufacturing price is not set, but rather it’s determined by six interwoven variables. We don’t use cost-saving production shortcuts, but rather professional-grade production standards.

Types of Apparel Samples

Fabric & Raw Materials

Purpose: The contribution of material cost is 40-55% to the total production cost. Located in Dongguan, we can access the textile markets of Guangdong province directly, which allows us to secure a steady supply of fabrics, as well as competitive price and without dealing the company mark-up.

Factory Advantage: We have a working relationship with mills that provide us GOTS certified organic cotton, GRS certified recycled polyester and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 fabric. This enables us to provide sustainable products with no minimum yardage penalties and is not a process that requires a long lead time.

What Impacts Cost:

Fabric testing including shrinkage, colourfastness, piling resistance certifications.

GSM weight of the fleece (320GSM vs 160GSM)

Fiber content (100% cotton, poly blends, organic certified, recycled content)

Dyeing method (yarn dyed / piece dyed; reactive / pigment dyes)

Use of zippers (YKK versus generic) and labels (woven vs printed) and hardware (metal vs plastic)

Design Complexity

Purpose: The complexity of construction is indicative of the amount of labor time and sewing skill needed. We are not Asian sizing – we are based on Western sizing (US/EU grading) so as to fit the North American and European markets.

Factory Advantage: Pattern team makes 15+ years experience of grading for international brands. We have digital pattern libraries for quicker reorders and allow pattern adjustments free of charge until the first sample round. However, size grading is not based solely on digital calculations, but rather on physical fit samples.

What Impacts Cost:

This is a comparison of the 18-panel technical jacket vs 4-panel basic tee.

The type of seams (flatlock athletic seams, coverstitch hems, reinforced bartacks).

Functional details (cargo pockets, inner linings, adjustable cuffs and concealed plackets)

Pattern grade of complexity (6-size run vs 8-size extended range)

The sizing accuracy requirements of the parts are shown as ยฑ0.5cm tolerance parts and ยฑ1.5cm standard parts.

Custom labels โ€“ Woven damask, heat transfer, size/care tags in multiple languages.

Customization Services

Purpose:
Decorating and branding incur setup costs as well as per piece costs. These services are commonly used by brands working with a Private Label Clothing Manufacturer. We have our own screen printing and embroidery facilities, ensuring that there is no delay in outsourcing and consistency in quality.

Factory Advantage: The embroidery machines can be used for 15 color designs in Factory Advantage with a precision of 0.1mm. Water-based inks are used for the screen printing process and are compliant with US Consumer Product Safety standards (CPSIA lead/phthalate compliance). Custom woven labels is made with 5 day delivery โ€“ not 3 weeks from overseas orders.

What Impacts Cost:

Development timeline and branded packaging (custom poly bags, tissue paper, stickers and hangtags)

Screen printing (set up per color/print site, plastisol/environmentally friendly water-based inks)

The digitizing fee, stitch count (5k-25k), thread quality, and 3D puff effects are all considered for embroidery.

DTG printing (full-color designs, no set-up fee, but a higher per-piece rate)

Custom Labels (Woven damask, heat transfer)..

Volume & MOQ

Purpose: Pre-production development is done to meet quality standards before bulk production. We have an in-house sampling department that is able to make prototypes within 7-14 days, which is a much shorter turnaround time than what factories that have outsourced sampling can offer, who take 3-4 weeks to deliver.

Factory Advantage: We have three quality checks: (1) Incoming fabric inspection, GSM, color, shrinkage, (2) Mid production inspection at 10%, 50% and final stage to catch sizing drift before it affects the whole order, (3) Pre-shipment inspection with photo, AQL 2.5. This QC process is not an extra charge, but a part of our pricing.

What Impacts Cost:

Tech pack clarity and rounds of revisions (detailed specs = quicker development)

The type of samples being used (prototype for fit validation or pre-production with final materials)

Lab dip development (color matching to Pantone and 3 round approval cycle)

Size set sampling (full XS-XXL range for grading verification)

Sampling & Development

Purpose: In pre-production development, quality requirements are met prior to mass production. The sampling department is in-house, and prototypes can be created within 7-14 days โ€“ as opposed to factories outsourcing their sampling, which would take 3-4 weeks.

Factory Advantage: we are doing three stage quality check: Incoming fabric verification (GSM, color, shrinkage), Mid-production quality checks at 10%, 50% and final stage to avoid sizing drift which has impact through the whole order, Pre-shipment AQL 2.5 inspection with photo documentation. This QC process is not an optional service that you have to pay extra for it to be done, but rather a part of our job.

What Impacts Cost:

Clear tech pack, revision rounds (detailed specs = faster development)

Sample Type (prototype for fit validation vs pre-production using final materials)

Over the last 20 years, Lab dip development has been a standard part of the testing process for color matching.

Full XS-XXL range for grading verification (size set sampling)

Logistics & Compliance

Purpose: There are different export readiness, compliance certificates and shipping details based on the export markets. We have BSCI certification (Business Social Compliance Initiative) for ethical labor practices and are able to offer OEKO-TEX and/or GOTS certificates on fabric if requested.

Factory Advantage: We prepare your documentation for shipment: Commercial invoices with the correct HS tariff codes, packing list, certificates of origin and fibre content labels according to USA (FTC), EU (Regulation 1007/2011), Australia (Trade Practices Act) requirements. This eliminates customs delays and makes import clearance easy (a service many budget factories would be missing).

What Impacts Cost:

Export certifications (BSCI social compliance, WRAP ethical manufacturing audits)

Packaging needs (individual poly bags, inner boxes, master carton, branded tissue) can be customized through our apparel packaging solutions.

Whether the basic final inspection or full AQL statistical sampling with reports is used for quality control level.

Frequently Asked Questions

Typically our base quotes are FOB (Free On Board), that is, shipping is not included. For our global partners we offer estimates of DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). We want you to know the true cost of a pair of leggings from the beginningโ€”from our door, and from our warehouse.

Because you’re not purchasing pre-cut blanks. For custom manufacturing, your price is constantly changing depending on your fabric GSM, your stitch count and your hardware options. For a “one size fits all” list, the factory is likely to be overcharging you on the simple designs and to pad its profits on the more complicated ones. We quote per project so you only have to pay what you are designing.

No factory makes any profit from free labor. The sampling cost is an additional cost due to our most experienced pattern makers working on one item. But we regard it as an investment: if you place a qualifying bulk order, we will often return part of that sample fee to your production.

Typically, the “Yield. When your pattern has a lot of detail, if you’re wasting 30% of your fabric, you’re wasting that fabric. We work to minimize our marker making (pattern layout) expenses so that your money goes into your pocket, not into the garbage.

A generic zipper is a few cents, a YKK zipper will be dollars! When you’re creating a global brand, it’s no good to have cheap hardware, it’s the number one reason for returns. We offer durability for your brand at an appropriate price. Don’t save a buck and lose a dollar.

The truth be told, yes, the price per unit is more expensive at 100 pieces than at 5,000 pieces. Why? This is since regardless of order size it takes the same time to set up the machines and develop the patterns. Weighing the cost, however, against you sitting on 4,000 units that didn’t sell, that’s still a lot less expensive.

Fabric typically represents 50%-70% of the cost of your garments. Converting from a regular Polyester to a GOTS Organic Cotton or a recycled Nylon will affect your price point. We offer you “Good, Better, Best” fabric choices that you can choose on where your margin should be.

We appreciate “Partners over Projects. When the same core fits is used year after year, we don’t need to re-develop patterns and re-tool machines. Those efficiency gains are passed on to you! Consistency pays.
